If you want to get in touch with us about a project, the best way is to send us an email. We’ll then chat through the brief for the project. We are happy to sign an NDA and you may decide to share a treatment or deck. We’ll then work on a quote for you detailing the assets you need rigs for. This would then be your fixed cost for the rigging on the project. We do not charge via person-days and you don’t need to pencil or extend us. Whenever we take on rigs, we then provide ongoing support until your project delivers.

We use Maya to create high end character rigs, bursting with functionality. Photoreal, Cartoony, Facial Rigging, Birds, Beasts, Bugs, you name it. We use a highly configurable in-house scripted pipeline, which allows us to tailor-make a rig to your studio’s specifications. Naming conventions, required nodes, selection sets, bespoke hierarchy, file & LODS variants - You’re all covered.

We use Trello as the main source of communication during projects. We find this to be a really visual way to track the progress and feedback on rigs that the whole team can see. Animators, Leads & Producers can all join the board and receive updates, share screenshots and videos. Unlike endless email threads, or word documents that get lost, Trello keeps everything tracked and you can easily see what’s done and what’s left to do. If anything is a bit harder to explain we can jump on a video call and screen share instead!

We do not join Studio's apps (such as Shotgun, Ftrack, Teams, Slack, Discord etc). As we offer ongoing support for all of the rigs I work on this would mean being signed in to multiple sites and it becomes difficult to manage.

When we take your project on, we’re on it until you deliver. This means you can depend on us for ongoing support for your animators, carry out model updates, and add any additional required features right up until the project delivers. We keep an archive of all rigging work, so if your project later becomes a series of projects, we won’t need to start from scratch!
